Lamheta Ghat, Jabalpur

Jabalpur is one of the major cities in Madhya Pradesh.
It is situated in the valley of river Narmada. The banks of river Narmada are laid with marble rock. Also may other sedimentary rocks form and erode with time.
Bheda ghat and Dhua dhar are two very famous spots along river Narmada, known for their uniqueness and splendid beauty.
In my attempt to find the less known, one of the places i found was Lamheta ghat. Though sometime and somewhere people have heard its name, yet few from the city it self have visited this appealing place.

I here try to bring the beauty of this place to you through pictures clicked by myself using my Moto g.

Hope you enjoyed the beauty of divine river Narmada.
See you soon.

Ghugra water falls,Jabalpur

Jabalpur is one of the major cities in Madhya Pradesh.
It is situated in the valley of river Narmada. The banks of river Narmada are laid with marble rock. Also may other sedimentary rocks form and erode with time.
Bheda ghat and Dhua dhar are two very famous spots along river Narmada, known for their uniqueness and splendid beauty. I recently scouted along the banks and found Ghugra falls.
M.P tourism has sure tried to highlight the place but till date it remains unknown to most of the residents of Jabalpur.

Want to travel but no time?

I have not met many people who do not like to travel and see the world. They must be rare hence!!
We all want to travel the world, see new places, but most of us do not have any plans. Either people are not able to find time out of their busy schedule or they wasted the little time they get.
I myself have not traveled to many far off places. I may not be able to get a 7 day vacation and travel to Himalaya yet but I travel to near by places for which even a halfday is enough!

This is what i am advising to readers. Do not waste your time on Facebook,Whats app meaninglessly posting jokes in a group on a lazy day. Instead you can explore some nearby place which might be unheard of. Do not complain that your city does not have beautiful places like Disney land to enjoy. Instead find some like minded friends and go explore the outskirts of your city. You may not find anything about that place on internet but then someone has to visit it, document it and post it on the internet! let that person be you!

Earth is beautiful! You will find somewhere someplace that will please your eyes or make your day. Just dont be lazy. Gain experience.
Just for an example i would like to mention my recent small trip i had when i was visiting a friend.
We just decided to start moving away from the town of Jabalpur, terrain started to become mountainous. We found a suitable one to climb which needed no equipments. Just will to reach its top. We climbed and got a chance to view the panorama of sunset over the beautiful landscape.
We enjoyed our time, rejoiced by the beauty we returned home having done something memorable that day.

Hope you too get motivated and enjoy the beauty of your own city. Yes but dont forget to wear your shoes, jacket and always carry a first aid kit. For you may never know what kind of place you may find.
Your comments are welcomed.
You can contact me if you need any more information on short time outings.

Upper Lake Bhopal: Synonym for beauty

Bhojtal
If you have ever been to Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India you must have seen the Upper lake. If not then Shame on you!! I first got a chance to enjoy the scenic beauty and panorama of the lake a year ago when i was in Bhopal. Standing at its "shores" you might only get a glimpse if its beauty. One can feel the true beauty of the place when you have charted a boat and move to the centre of like. The busy City of Bhopal, Capital of Madhya Pradesh stands tall on all sides of the lake being built around it. Though all ends of the lake are not within our eyes visible range when we stand at one of its ends... Such is the Mightiness of the lake.
Welcome to the city of lakes. Says the majestic glowing sign day and night.

As taken from the internet: According to the local folklore, Bhojtal is said to have been built by the Parmar Raja Bhoj during his tenure as a king of Malwa (1005–1055). He is also said to have established the city of Bhopal (also named after him, then as Bhojpal) to secure the eastern frontier of his kingdom. There is a legend why they built the lake. Once king Bhoj suffered from skin disease and all Vaidyas (Doctor in English) failed to cure him. Then, one day a saint told the king to build a tank to combine 365 tributaries and then have a bath in it to wipe out the skin disease. Bhoj called upon his engineers to build up a huge tank. They spotted a place near river Betwa, which was 32 km away from Bhopal. It was found that it has only 359 tributaries. A Gond Commander Kalia fulfilled this shortage. He then gave the address of an invisible river. After merging the tributaries of this river the number 365 was completed.
The lake was created by constructing an earthen dam across the Kolans River. An eleven gate dam called the Bhadbhada dam was constructed at Bhadbhada in 1965 at the southeast corner of the Lake, and now controls the outflow to the river Kaliasote.

Bhojtal or Upper lake is the pride of Bhopal with is uncompareable beauty and significant history.
These are some picture taken by myself using only my Phone. No DSLR to make it look artistically beautiful. Theses are plain images of pure beauty.

Hope you enjoy!

I read Trojan Odyssey

Namaste!
First of all i want to thank Clive Cussler for giving the world the awesome"Drik Pitt" adventure series.
I recently read Trojan odyssey which is part of a great adventure series and i would like to share my views. Clive's immense experience with the ocean showers the novel with a deep element of reality thus bringing life to the story and characters. The story begins with two young scientist siblings investigating a strange form of pollution.Though mystery is created around the form but it can be very easily guessed what would happen next as the puzzle is as straight as a line. So not much mystery.
But the book is a treat for imaginative minds who find the genre of action adventure exciting. The detail of remarkable storytelling binds the reader to the book. I could rarely stop for a break once i started. The detail of every character is impressive. I would recommend it as a must read, if action is what you are looking for. Not so if you are looking for a good mystery novel. I wanted to write much more but then i don't want to give any spoiler either!
Hope you find me review useful.
